The Oceanside pier is a short walk south of the beachfront condo or the close up ocean view condos. The Oceanside pier is a long wooden pier for fishing and strolling. There are hundreds of names of residents engraved in it's side who helped support the pier. Looking back toward the Strand from the pier is a wonderful view.
Ruby's restaurant is at the pier end. There's a seasonal McDonald's and the lifeguard headquarters under the pier. The new Oceanside Pier Resort is under construction across the street from the pier and will offer timeshares.
The city hosts pier bandstand activities and surfing and bodyboard contests.
Enjoy the beach amenities while visiting Oceanside in our beachfront on the Strand or full ocean view condos. This is a popular swimming beach in Oceanside and lifeguarded in the summer. As always though there may be rip currents or hazards in the ocean.
