The Oceanside marina is off of the beaten path and more intimate than the marinas in San Diego, Mission Bay, Coronado and Orange County's Dana Point; it's nice to stroll. The farthest point from the condo is about 1.2 miles to the Jolly Roger Restaurant.
There's camper camping on the ocean side of the harbor; parking is fee parking. The Oceanside harbor village is to the east.
There's a grassy strip with concrete picnic benches adjacent the marina which is fun for early morning coffee and donuts or afternoon picnics and marina boat watching.
Join the fun and rent a kayak or small boat from the boat rental folks at the marina.
