A short walk to the north over a small street crossing the river and lagoon leading to the ocean is harbor village and the Oceanside marina.
There are several small shops selling clothes, seashells, ice cream, tourist interests, and some small restaurants specializing in breakfast, fish and chips, sea food and a small coffee house, the Nautical Bean, (actually in a covered awning area).
The atmosphere is friendly at this little village and there's plenty of sights to enjoy. This area is a short walk away.
